From a very early stage of his life, Shahid developed a keen interest in art and culture. Thus he started writing poetry and songs in his early teens. Since then he has written, composed and sung a variety of numbers. His melodic voice has a fine balance of sweetness and resonance in it and carries much emotion and appeal. His international debut Album "Musafir" is a blend of concepts and styles, sung in English, Arabic, Bengali and Urdu. This entertaining and uplifting album is truly a trendsetter.

Excellent piece of artistry! Masha'Allah.
I am very encouraged to see and hear songs produced by muslims who actually do have talent and expertise in the field, rather then wanna be's, who MashAllah I admire, but more so we need people with talent and expertise that can reach out main stream, therefore wider audience. Good composition,lyrics and voice- a fantastic combination for success!
the songs do carry alot of weight interms of their meaning and purpose.
I saw the Album being sold on sound vision website and east london book store for those who havent bought iy yet |
